Q: What is the Purpose of Deadstock?

The primary goal of Deadstock is to provide liquidity and exit strategies for owners of inactive or delisted cryptocurrency assets through a decentralized, automated framework.

Users can participate by bridging their dormant tokens to the platform, providing liquidity to the 'Resurrection Pools' to earn fees, or staking the native token for governance rights.

Q: What Sets Deadstock Apart from Competitors?

While most DEXs focus on high-volume trending coins, Deadstock specializes in the technical and liquidity requirements of low-volume and 'dead' assets, offering custom tools for asset recovery.

What is Deadstock?

Deadstock is a decentralized platform designed to solve liquidity issues for illiquid assets in the cryptocurrency market. Its mission is to revitalize 'dead' tokens—those with low trading volume or stagnant development—by providing a secondary marketplace and specialized financial tools to unlock their underlying value.

How Does Deadstock Work?

Deadstock utilizes a proprietary automated market maker (AMM) combined with a unique 'Resurrection Protocol.' This technology allows users to bridge their dormant assets into the Deadstock ecosystem, where they can be staked or traded against more liquid pairs, effectively creating a decentralized clearinghouse for tokens that have been delisted from major exchanges.

What Makes Deadstock Unique?

Deadstock is unique for its focus on the 'zombie coin' niche. Unlike standard DEXs, it provides specific arbitrage opportunities and low-slippage mechanisms tailored for low-liquidity assets. Key use cases include portfolio rebalancing for long-term holders and a launchpad for developers looking to pivot or rebrand existing blockchain projects.

Who Are the Founders of Deadstock?

The project was founded by a team of blockchain veterans and fintech specialists led by Marcus Thorne, a former quantitative analyst, and Sarah Chen, a smart contract architect. Their expertise in market microstructure and decentralized finance was pivotal in building the platform's liquidity-balancing algorithms.
