What is Firelight?

Firelight is an institutional-grade liquid staking protocol for XRP built on the Flare Network. It enables XRP holders to stake FXRP and receive stXRP, a liquid staking token that can be used across DeFi while earning yield.

How Does Firelight Work?

Users bridge their XRP to Flare through the FAssets system, deposit FXRP into Firelight, and receive stXRP on a 1:1 basis. stXRP can be utilized within the Flare ecosystem for trading, lending, and liquidity provision.

What Makes Firelight Unique?

Firelight introduces native XRP staking, allowing holders to earn rewards while participating in DeFi insurance. It addresses the lack of native staking or yield opportunities for XRP by providing a staking layer that utilizes staked XRP for on-chain cover.
