What is ROW8?

ROW8 is a premium movie streaming platform that bridges traditional Hollywood cinema with the Web3 ecosystem. It offers a vast library of theatrical releases from major studios such as Disney, Universal, Warner Bros., and Sony, while integrating blockchain-based digital collectibles and NFT-powered rewards through its partnership and acquisition of the Rad streaming platform.

How Does ROW8 Work?

The platform functions as a Premium Video On Demand (PVOD) service, allowing users to rent or purchase high-quality films. On the technological side, it utilizes the BSV blockchain (via Rad's infrastructure) to facilitate NFT transactions, digital ownership of media, and smart-contract-based revenue sharing with content creators and theater chains.

What Makes ROW8 Unique?

ROW8 distinguishes itself through its patented 'Scene Alert' technology, which provides viewers with dynamic information about upcoming scenes, and its 'Fresh to Home' delivery model that offers movies still playing in theaters. Furthermore, its integration with Rad allows users to unlock exclusive content and rewards using NFTs, merging mainstream entertainment with decentralized finance.

Who Are the Founders of ROW8?

ROW8 was co-founded by Jasmina Christoph and George Christoph. Jasmina Christoph serves as the President and has been instrumental in securing licensing deals with all major Hollywood studios. Following the merger with Rad, Tony Mugavero, a blockchain veteran since 2012, serves as the CEO of the combined entities.
