Bedrock has undergone audits by security firms like PeckShield and Sigmaprime. Following a 2024 exploit, the protocol has enhanced its real-time monitoring and implemented stricter smart contract caps to prevent future vulnerabilities.

Q: What is the Purpose of Bedrock?

The primary goal of Bedrock is to provide a secure and transparent liquid restaking infrastructure that allows both retail and institutional users to maximize their yield on assets like ETH and BTC without locking them up.

Q: How Can I Participate in Bedrock's Ecosystem?

Users can participate by minting uniETH or uniBTC on the Bedrock dApp, providing liquidity to DEX pools, or participating in 'Diamond' farming quests to qualify for future governance rewards.

Q: What Sets Bedrock Apart from Competitors?

Unlike many competitors, Bedrock supports a diverse range of assets beyond just ETH, including BTC and IOTX, and it emphasizes institutional-grade security and compliance features.

Q: What are the Risks Associated with Bedrock?

Risks include smart contract vulnerabilities, potential slashing on underlying networks (Ethereum/Babylon), and liquidity risks where the value of uni-tokens might briefly deviate from their peg during high volatility.

What is Bedrock?

Bedrock is a pioneering multi-asset liquid restaking protocol developed in partnership with RockX, a long-standing blockchain infrastructure provider. It is designed to provide institutional-grade liquid staking and restaking solutions, bridging the gap between traditional finance (CeFi) and decentralized finance (DeFi). The protocol allows users to maintain liquidity while earning staking rewards and additional yield from restaking layers like EigenLayer and Babylon.

How Does Bedrock Work?

Bedrock functions by allowing users to deposit various assets—such as ETH, WBTC, and IOTX—into its non-custodial smart contracts. In return, users receive Liquid Restaking Tokens (LRTs) like uniETH, uniBTC, or uniIOTX. These tokens represent the user's staked principal plus accrued rewards. The deposited assets are then restaked on secondary security layers (like EigenLayer for ETH or Babylon for BTC), enabling users to accumulate multiple layers of rewards, including protocol staking yield and ecosystem points (e.g., Bedrock Diamonds).

What Makes Bedrock Unique?

Bedrock distinguishes itself through its multi-asset support and its focus on institutional compliance, incorporating features that cater to large-scale liquid staking requirements. It is one of the first protocols to offer liquid restaking for Bitcoin (uniBTC) through the Babylon chain. Additionally, uniETH is a non-rebasing token, meaning it does not increase in quantity but instead grows in value relative to the underlying ETH, simplifying tax and accounting for users.

Who Are the Founders of Bedrock?

Bedrock was launched by RockX, a Singapore-based blockchain firm led by CEO Chen Zhuling. Zhuling is a veteran in the blockchain space and was a core member of the founding team of aora and a former consultant at Roland Berger. The project has also received strategic backing from major industry players like OKX Ventures, LongHash Ventures, and Amber Group, with advisors including Fisher Yu, a co-founder of the Babylon protocol.

Aktuelle News

What Key Events Have There Been for Bedrock?

In May 2024, Bedrock successfully closed a funding round led by OKX Ventures to accelerate its multi-asset restaking solutions. A major milestone occurred in September 2024 when the protocol experienced a security exploit involving uniBTC, resulting in a loss of approximately $2 million. However, the team quickly addressed the vulnerability, secured all underlying reserves, and implemented a comprehensive reimbursement plan to restore user confidence. More recently, Bedrock expanded its ecosystem to include Berachain and Bitget Wallet integrations.

Project Announcements

Bedrock recently announced the launch of the 'RockBera' NFT collection on Berachain, which offers holders early access to future uniBTC features and exclusive Discord roles. The protocol has also reached a TVL (Total Value Locked) milestone exceeding $240 million across its supported chains including Ethereum, IoTeX, and Bitcoin.

Bevorstehende Events

Latest Airdrop

Bedrock has ongoing incentive programs where users earn 'Bedrock Diamonds' for staking and participating in the ecosystem. While a major Season 1 airdrop occurred in early 2025, 'Season 2' or 'Future Airdrops' are allocated 14.5% of the total supply. Participants typically qualify by holding uni-tokens or participating in specific ecosystem quests via platforms like Galxe or CryptoRank.

ICO Time

Information regarding a future ICO is currently null as the project has moved into post-TGE phases.

IDO Time

Bedrock (BR) held its IDO in March 2025, raising approximately $1.25 million across decentralized launchpads.

TGE Time

The Token Generation Event (TGE) for the BR token took place in late April 2025, with initial listings on PancakeSwap and Binance Wallet.

Bedrock Price Prediction

Credible market analysts note that Bedrock's price performance is heavily tied to the adoption of the Babylon and EigenLayer ecosystems. While the project remains the 8th largest liquid staking protocol by TVL, market sentiment is influenced by the recovery of the restaking sector post-2024 volatility. There are currently no available forecasts from reliable experts for long-term targets, though media reports highlight that continued expansion into new chains like Berachain and Arbitrum could serve as positive catalysts.
