What is Duel Duck?

Duel Duck is a decentralized peer-to-peer (P2P) prediction market platform built on the Solana blockchain. Its mission is to simplify the prediction experience, allowing users to create and participate in "Yes/No" duels across various categories including crypto prices, sports, gaming, and global events without the need for traditional order books or centralized market makers.

How Does Duel Duck Work?

The platform utilizes smart contracts to automate the betting and payout process, ensuring transparency and security. Users can either join existing duels by picking a side or create their own. When a duel concludes, the smart contract automatically distributes the prize pool to the winners. Duel creators are incentivized by earning a commission (up to 10-20%) from every participant's entry fee, regardless of the duel's outcome.

What Makes Duel Duck Unique?

Unlike traditional betting sites, Duel Duck features a 'creator economy' where active users act as the house by setting their own odds and commission rates. It also includes social features like the 'Mentionboard' for rewarding community engagement and a 'KOL Tournament' system where influencers can host private competitions for their audience. The platform emphasizes high-speed, low-cost transactions powered by Solana.

Who Are the Founders of Duel Duck?

The project was co-founded by Stanislav (Stan) Horuna, an Olympic bronze medalist and professional karateka from Ukraine, who serves as CEO. Another key co-founder and figure in the project is the trader known as 'Cryptomannn.' Horuna's background in high-performance sports brings a competitive and strategic mindset to the platform's development and community growth.
