What is EDGE Markets?

EDGE Markets is a financial technology and infrastructure company that builds banking, payment, and settlement solutions for alternative financial markets, including gaming, crypto, and prediction markets. The project's mission is to decrease friction for capital flow in regulated markets by providing purpose-built payment rails and institutional-grade deposit accounts.

How Does EDGE Markets Work?

EDGE Markets operates through a suite of integrated products: EDGE Boost, a banking platform and VISA debit card for gaming; EDGE Pro, which offers high-throughput deposit accounts for real-time fund transfers to CFTC-regulated exchanges; and EDGE Connect, a payment rail designed to reduce transaction costs by charging only on net new deposits rather than every individual transaction.

What Makes EDGE Markets Unique?

EDGE Markets is unique for its 'base station' approach to capital allocation, focusing on the plumbing of the industry rather than being another exchange. Key features include the EDGE Connect payment rail, which can reduce processing fees by over 70%, and its integration with ZeroHash to provide a compliant crypto-to-USD conversion path for users in all 50 U.S. states.

Who Are the Founders of EDGE Markets?

The project is led by Seni Thomas, the Founder and CEO. Thomas has extensive experience in fintech and specialized banking infrastructure. The company is backed by prominent venture capital firms including CoinFund, Indicator Ventures, and Mantis VC, with Alex Felix (CIO of CoinFund) serving as a key strategic partner and investor.
