The platform is built by experienced founders with backgrounds in institutional FinTech. While the protocol uses audited smart contract principles, users should always verify the specific contract address (0x465...) to avoid imitation tokens.

What is Itô?

Itô (often referred to as the ITŌ project) is a specialized financial technology project building institutional-grade solutions on the Bitcoin network. Its mission is to bridge the gap between traditional financial markets and the decentralized world by offering low-latency, highly secure trading and clearing solutions tailored for professional market participants.

How Does Itô Work?

Itô leverages the security of the Bitcoin blockchain while utilizing advanced layers and protocols (such as Lightning Network and specialized smart contracts) to facilitate high-frequency trading environments. The platform employs financial engineering principles to create delta-neutral yield strategies and cross-currency yield rate swaps, allowing users to trade future expected yields from yield-bearing assets.

What Makes Itô Unique?

Unlike standard DeFi protocols, Itô is designed specifically for financial market professionals, focusing on 'Cross-Currency Yield Rate Swaps' and the ability to mint stablecoins (like ITOusd) against 100% of the expected value of future yield tokens. This provides an auto-repaying loan mechanism that eliminates liquidation risk for users while providing instant liquidity on future returns.

Who Are the Founders of Itô?

The project was founded by Côme Jean Jarry (Financial Engineering), Victor Afanassieff (Tech), and Romain Rouphael (Development). Côme and Romain previously co-founded Belem, a FinTech firm that built blockchain solutions for financial institutions, while Victor served as a lead developer with deep expertise in Bitcoin script and Lightning Network.
