Q: What is the Purpose of Trezu?

The primary goal of Trezu is to eliminate the operational chaos and security risks associated with managing shared crypto assets. It aims to provide teams with professional-grade multisig tools that are easy to use across different blockchains.

Q: How Can I Participate in Trezu's Ecosystem?

Users can participate by launching a treasury on trezu.app, integrating their team's assets, and using the platform for multichain swaps and bulk payments. Developers can contribute to the ecosystem by building integrations for the platform.

Q: What Sets Trezu Apart from Competitors?

Trezu stands out due to its 'Confidential Treasury' feature, which provides financial privacy for payroll, and its ability to handle non-EVM chains like Bitcoin and Solana in the same interface as Ethereum, a feat many multisig competitors cannot achieve.

Q: What are the Risks Associated with Trezu?

As with any DeFi protocol, risks include potential smart contract vulnerabilities and the inherent volatility of the assets managed within the treasury. Trezu manages these risks through rigorous auditing and by not taking custody of user funds.

What is Trezu?

Trezu is a non-custodial, multichain multisig treasury management platform designed for Web3 teams, startups, and DAOs. It provides a shared workspace where teams can manage digital assets, execute payments, and swap tokens across over 35 different blockchains—including Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, and NEAR—all from a single dashboard without giving up control of their private keys.

How Does Trezu Work?

Trezu operates by replacing the single-wallet bottleneck with a decentralized approval system. Every action, such as a token swap or payroll payment, starts as a proposal. Designated team members connect their individual wallets (hot or hardware) to the workspace to review and vote on these proposals. Once the required number of on-chain approvals (threshold) is reached, the transaction executes automatically via smart contracts.

What Makes Trezu Unique?

Unlike traditional multisig wallets that are often limited to EVM chains, Trezu supports 35+ major networks natively. It offers 'Confidential Treasuries' for private payroll and financial data, ensuring that sensitive transaction details like recipient amounts do not touch public explorers. Additionally, it features built-in cross-chain swaps without external bridges and granular Role-Based Permissions (Requestor, Finance, Governance) to separate duties within a team.

Who Are the Founders of Trezu?

While specific individual bios of the founding team are not publicly detailed in marketing materials, Trezu is developed by a specialized team of Web3 engineers and is officially supported and recognized by major ecosystem leaders like Illia Polosukhin, the co-founder of NEAR Protocol. The team focuses on removing operational complexity from decentralized finance for scaling organizations.
