Q: What is the Purpose of Wemade?

The primary goal of the WEMIX project is to foster a 'Mega-Ecosystem' where blockchain gaming, DeFi, and NFTs converge, providing gamers with true ownership of digital assets and developers with a scalable infrastructure for Web3 transformation.

Q: How Can I Participate in Wemade's Ecosystem?

Users can participate by playing games on the WEMIX PLAY platform, staking WEMIX tokens through the Governance DApp to earn rewards from Node Council Partners (NCPs), or trading NFTs on the NILE marketplace.

Q: What Sets Wemade Apart from Competitors?

Unlike many crypto projects, Wemade is backed by a legacy gaming company with established IP and millions of active users. Its hybrid multi-chain structure also solves the high gas fee and low TPS issues common in other gaming blockchains.

Q: What are the Risks Associated with Wemade?

Potential risks include regulatory shifts in South Korea regarding P2E games, market volatility affecting in-game asset values, and the competitive nature of the blockchain gaming sector. The foundation manages these through transparent tokenomics and active buyback programs.

What is Wemade?

Wemade is a South Korean gaming giant and blockchain pioneer that has transitioned from a traditional game developer to a global leader in the Web3 space. The project's mission is to create a 'mega-ecosystem' that integrates gaming, decentralized finance (DeFi), and community-driven governance through its high-performance WEMIX3.0 blockchain. By bridging the gap between conventional gaming and blockchain technology, Wemade aims to build a sustainable digital economy where in-game assets hold real-world value.

How Does Wemade Work?

The ecosystem operates on the WEMIX3.0 Mainnet, an EVM-compatible Layer-1 blockchain secured by a Stake-based Proof of Authority (SPoA) consensus mechanism. This technical infrastructure supports WEMIX PLAY, the world's largest blockchain gaming platform, allowing developers to easily 'onboard' their games using a provided SDK. Transactions and asset transfers are facilitated by the WEMIX token, which acts as the native utility currency for gas fees, staking, and inter-game exchanges within the ecosystem.

What Makes Wemade Unique?

Wemade is unique for its 'Content-Led' approach, leveraging massive AAA titles like MIR4 and Night Crows to drive adoption and liquidity rather than relying solely on speculation. It features a sophisticated 'Play and Earn' model where in-game resources can be converted into the WEMIX token and liquid assets. Furthermore, the ecosystem includes unique services like NILE (a DAO-based NFT platform) and Wepublic (a blockchain-based transparent funding platform), creating a comprehensive digital life experience.

Who Are the Founders of Wemade?

Wemade was founded in 2000 by Park Kwan-ho, a visionary with over 26 years of experience in the online gaming sector. Park previously served as the Head of Development at Actoz Soft and is credited with the success of 'The Legend of Mir' series. Under his leadership, along with former CEO Henry Chang, Wemade became one of the first publicly traded gaming companies to successfully pivot toward a full-scale blockchain economy.

Project Announcements

Wemade recently announced the 'PLAY ON' initiative for 2026, focusing on the global Steam launch of 'Legend of YMIR' and the integration of native USDC support on the mainnet to enhance financial interoperability.
