Q: What is the Purpose of Nexon?

The primary goal is to provide a decentralized, transparent, and efficient money market where users can lend and borrow assets without intermediaries, specifically optimized for the high-speed, low-cost zkSync network.

Q: How Can I Participate in Nexon's Ecosystem?

Users can participate by supplying liquidity to the lending pools, borrowing assets for leveraged positions, or acquiring Nexon Army NFTs to join the core community and gain potential future rewards.

Q: What Sets Nexon Apart from Competitors?

Nexon combines a traditional money market with a unique P2P lending layer and a gamified community structure (NFTs), providing more flexibility in interest rate negotiation than standard automated models.

Q: What are the Risks Associated with Nexon?

What is Nexon?

Nexon Finance is a decentralized lending protocol originally launched as the first native money market on the zkSync Era Mainnet. It provides a community-built, permissionless platform for pooled lending and peer-to-peer (P2P) lending, aiming to maximize capital efficiency and offer low-risk financial solutions within the DeFi ecosystem.

How Does Nexon Work?

The protocol utilizes a pooled lending architecture (similar to Compound v2) where users can supply assets to earn interest or borrow against their collateral. Additionally, Nexon incorporates a P2P market designed to narrow the gap between borrowing and lending rates by allowing direct interactions between users, supported by smart contracts on the zkSync layer-2 network.

What Makes Nexon Unique?

Nexon distinguishes itself by being a pioneer on zkSync Era and offering a dual-market approach (Pooled + P2P). It also features the 'Nexon Army' NFT collection, which serves as a gamified community layer where holders receive special roles and potential governance benefits, bridging the gap between digital collectibles and DeFi utility.

Who Are the Founders of Nexon?

The project is led by a team of financial experts and blockchain developers. While the core team often operates under the Nexon Finance brand to maintain a decentralized focus, they are recognized for their expertise in fractional CFO services, financial analysis, and smart contract development, having backgrounds in both traditional finance and Web3 infrastructure.
