How Does RIT Capital Partners Work?

RIT Capital Partners operates as a closed-ended investment fund managed by its subsidiary, J. Rothschild Capital Management Limited. This allows retail investors to gain exposure to high-growth private assets usually reserved for institutional players.

The firm was founded in 1961 by Lord Jacob Rothschild (4th Baron Rothschild) to manage the English branch of the Rothschild family's wealth outside of the family bank.
