What is NAV Consulting?

NAV Consulting (often referred to as NAV Fund Administration Group) is a premier global fund administrator that has become a market leader in the digital asset space. It provides comprehensive back-office solutions, including fund accounting, reporting, and administrative support to over 1,000 digital asset funds globally. Its mission is to bridge the gap between traditional fund administration and the evolving needs of the cryptocurrency market by providing institutional-grade transparency and technology-driven efficiency.

How Does NAV Consulting Work?

The platform operates through a proprietary, high-capacity core system designed to process millions of transactions across more than 200 blockchains and 150 crypto exchanges. NAV programmatically pulls data from Layer 1, Layer 2, and non-EVM chains, using an automated rule database to categorize complex DeFi transactions like staking, farming, and mining. This data is then reconciled to provide accurate daily Net Asset Value (NAV) reporting and tax-ready documentation for fund managers and investors.

What Makes NAV Consulting Unique?

NAV Consulting is unique for its 'Crypto Vault' technology, which allows fund managers to securely upload API keys and wallet addresses that remain inaccessible even to NAV staff, ensuring high-level security. Unlike traditional administrators struggling with on-chain data, NAV offers daily reporting delivered by 6:30 AM ET and features a 'Crypto Live' dashboard for real-time portfolio monitoring. It supports a wide array of strategies including tokenized Real-World Assets (RWA), liquid staking, and high-frequency quantitative trading.

Who Are the Founders of NAV Consulting?

NAV Consulting was founded in 1991 by Nav Gupta, who serves as the Chairman and remains a key visionary for the company's growth into the digital asset sector. The leadership team also includes Ravi Gupta (Chief Strategic Solutions Officer) and Rajat Jain (Senior Vice President), who have spearheaded the company's transformation into the world's largest independent digital asset fund administrator, managing over $450 billion in total assets under administration (AUA).
